Her campaign website describes her as a lifelong Chicagoland resident who grew up in Evanston and Glencoe. She said she was born at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and adopted through Catholic Charities.

Before that, she held two roles at WorldPoint ECC Inc. She served as executive vice president from 2018 to 2021 and as vice president of sales and marketing from 2011 to 2018, according to BallotReady.
