Lake Bluff families who want to weigh in with their school board will need to show up in person Tuesday.
The Lake Bluff School District 65 Board of Education will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Lake Bluff Elementary School, 350 West Washington Ave. The meeting will not be live-streamed, according to a district notice posted Oct. 22.
The board is scheduled to conduct regular business at the session. All District 65 board meetings are open to the public, and the district said it welcomes attendance and participation.
How to participate
Residents who attend can address the board during the public comment portion of the agenda when recognized by the board president. Each speaker must identify themselves and keep remarks to three minutes. Board members will not respond to comments during the meeting.
The district asks that attendees follow Board Policy 8:30, which governs visitor conduct on school property.
Residents who cannot attend in person can submit comments to be read aloud at the meeting by emailing Amy Kotnik at [email protected].
The district has not published a detailed agenda for the Oct. 27 meeting beyond the notice that the board will conduct regular business.
