Lake Forest Community High School published its second-semester Honor Roll and High Honor Roll for the 2025-2026 school year on Monday, June 22, recognizing 914 students — a slight increase from 909 honorees in the first semester.

The full list of honorees is available on the District 115 website at lakeforestschools.org.

To earn a spot on the Honor Roll, students must achieve a semester GPA of 4.00 to 4.66 while enrolled full-time in at least five full-credit courses. High Honor Roll recognition requires a GPA of 4.67 or higher. Only courses issuing half a credit per semester count toward honor roll status.

The back-to-back semesters suggest a growing share of the school's roughly 1,366 students are meeting the academic bar, with nearly 67 percent of the student body earning recognition in the second semester.

While honor roll status is one of many factors colleges consider, it signals consistent academic performance across a full course load — something admissions officers and scholarship committees often look for as evidence of sustained effort rather than a single strong test score or grade.
