Forty-seven Lake Forest College lacrosse players earned NACC Scholar-Athlete recognition for the 2025-26 academic year, according to a release from Lake Forest College Athletics on Wednesday, July 8.

The total represents more than two-thirds of both the men's and women's rosters. The Forester men placed 33 players on the list, tying for the most honorees in men's lacrosse across the conference. The women's team landed 14 of its 20 rostered players, ranking third in the NACC in that sport.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 GPA or higher for the full academic year.

Two seniors stood out. Goalkeeper Cecilia Adams (No. 15, women's lacrosse) and midfielder Ryan Dousevicz (No. 55, men's lacrosse) earned conference academic honors for the fourth straight year. Both were named to the Midwest Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team in 2023 and 2024, then picked up NACC Scholar-Athlete nods in each of the program's first two years in the conference.

Lake Forest joined the NACC as an affiliate member for lacrosse beginning with the 2024-25 academic year, after previously competing in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference. Director of Athletics Nicki Pieart called the move "a great fit for our programs" when the transition was announced in April 2024.

The women's squad went 15-5 overall and 9-0 in NACC play during the spring 2025 season, the program's first in the conference.

Conference-wide, the NACC recognized more than 2,800 student-athletes across all sports for the 2025-26 academic year, according to the league's announcement Sunday, July 6.

The scholar-athlete designation is awarded on a single-year basis, meaning each honoree met the GPA threshold during the 2025-26 term regardless of prior-year performance.
