Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents will have front-row access to Bears training camp this summer, with 10 free open practices at Halas Hall following a season that produced an NFC North title and a run to the Divisional Round.

The Bears announced Thursday, June 25, that they will open 10 training camp sessions to the public at their Lake Forest headquarters. Tickets are free but required, available through Ticketmaster and the Bears app starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8.

The open practice dates: July 31; Aug. 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 18 and 25. Practice times have not been announced.

Three sessions carry themed programming. Aug. 1 is Kids Day, Aug. 8 is Celebrating Women and Girls in Sports Day, and Aug. 9 is Vamos Bears Day. All sessions will include family activities, autograph opportunities, and on-site merchandise.

Getting there: Fan parking will be at Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, with shuttle service running to Halas Hall. Whether local residents will have on-site parking access has not been announced.

Head coach Ben Johnson enters his second season after leading the Bears to the NFC North crown in 2025. Rookies, quarterbacks, and injured players report Saturday, July 25. Veterans arrive Tuesday, July 28.

The preseason opener is Saturday, Aug. 15, against the Cleveland Browns at Soldier Field. The Bears also have joint practices scheduled at Cincinnati on Thursday, Aug. 20, and at Tennessee on Thursday, Aug. 27, before the regular season kicks off Sunday, Sept. 13, at Carolina.

The Bears have held camp at Halas Hall since 2020. A date for the annual Family Fest practice at Soldier Field has not been set.
